A NZ trained veterinarian since 1992 he has worked as far south as Te Anau and as far north as Inverness Scotland!  During his time in the UK he did further studies in surgery and also an introductory course in herbal medicine.

A long held dream was to own his own pratice, and this has finally eventuated.  He now takes great pleasure in looking after a great range of family pets and realises they are important members of the family and so it is important to have the family involved in their care.

Since opening PAWS Vets he has looked after dogs, cats, rabbits, caged birds, mice, rats, sheep, ferrets, wallabies and even a penguin!
