Nick Deane  BVSc BPhil(vet) GPCert(SAS)

Nick is married to Melanie and has two children Peter and Charis.

An NZ trained veterinarian since 1992 he has worked as far south as Te Anau and as far north as Inverness Scotland!  During his time in the UK, he did further studies in surgery and also an introductory course in herbal medicine.

A long-held dream was to own his own practice, and this has finally eventuated.  He now takes great pleasure in looking after a great range of family pets and realises they are important members of the family and so it is important to have the family involved in their care.

Since opening PAWS Vets he has looked after dogs, cats, rabbits, caged birds, mice, rats, sheep, ferrets, wallabies and even a penguin!
